Manga
Shoujo/Shounen In here goes the manga for the general audience of girls and guys. Genres here would include heterosexual romance, magic and fantasy, drama, action, adventure, violence, horror, comedy, heterosexual sex, mystery, suspense, thriller, and other unique, weird, uncategorizable stuff that are not yaoi/yuri (i.e. a manga about a stuffed toy (Tarepanda Goes on An Adventure), a manga about cats/kittens (Chii's Sweet Home), those kinds.) Themes of incest, rape, sado-masochism, sexual abuse, child abuse, child sexual abuse, het lollicon and het shota-con may be included.
Yaoi/Yuri In here goes the manga with homosexual (either girl-to-girl or guy-to-guy) content. Titles inside may range from shounen-ai/shoujo-ai, which connotes 'soft' scenes limited to hints of love and attraction, kissing, touching, necking and petting, or even some sexual scenes that are drawn implicitly, to 'hard' yaoi/yuri, which contain explicit sex scenes. Other themes such as incest, rape, sado-masochism, child abuse, sexual child abuse, homo lolli-con (though super rare) and homo shota-con may be included.
Doujinshi These are extra non-canon works lifted from original manga series, which may be done by the artists of the mainstream manga themselves (eg. Gravitation Remixes by Murakami Maki) or other parties such as doujinshi circles or solo doujinshika. Though most doujinshi are slashed off from the originals, and thus contain homosexual content, there are also others which does not, so I decided to put them in a separate category. There are also such things as original doujinshi, which are original stand-alone works by doujinshika or doujinshi circles. I warn you though that most of what will be here will have homosexual content.
