Here are a few extras that can help in your manga addiction. :)
Tools:
CD Display This is for easy viewing of manga. There are other viewers out there, but this is the most convenient and best that I have tried so far. Just install it and you're ready to go. It's fully integrated in the shell of most operating systems, so all you have to do is to right-click your zip file, and choose the program from the list. No extracting! which translates to less disk required.
Directory Lister This is to create lists of your manga files. Just point the program to a directory and it lists all the files inside there, even those inside the subdirectories. Helpful if you want to post lists for viewing by other manga addicts like yourself.
Image Resizer This one is exclusively for those with WindowsXP systems. It's a nifty tool that allows you to resize pictures without having to open your bulky image editing program. A must-have for those addicts who love to share the affliction by showing sample caps!
ReNamer This program is one I cannot personally do without. As I am very OC with regards my files, especially my manga, I have to have this program to rename all my manga using the file naming conventions that I am comfortable with. Really easy to use!
WinRar I know most people prefer WinZip, but the truth is, its compression sucks. That's why a lot of manga out there is in RAR, and woe is you if you can't get your fix just cause you don't have WinRar. Well, here it is. And here's the registry key to go with it too.
LJ Client for WinXP Lastly, if you saw this wiki through LJ, then you know what this is for. This is the integrated version that inserts yourself in your system, but you gotta have WinXP though. Makes it totally easy to upload pics to your LJ Scrapbook, perfect for those who share the addiction via daily scans.
